9.B. - Page 1 <br /> REPORT <br /> To the Honorable Mayor and City Council <br /> From the City Manager <br /> December 8, 2014 <br /> SUBJECT <br /> Confirm the scope of a potential General Plan and Downtown Precise Plan amendment <br /> to allow applicants to request adjustments to the Downtown Precise Plan Maximum <br /> Allowable Development standards <br /> RECOMMENDATION <br /> By motion, confirm the scope of a potential General Plan and Downtown Precise Plan <br /> amendment to allow applicants to request adjustments to the Downtown Precise Plan <br /> Maximum Allowable Development standards. <br /> BACKGROUND <br /> Purpose of Meeting <br /> The purpose of this meeting is for the Council to consider the scope of the potential <br /> adjustments to the Downtown Precise Plan (DTPP) Maximum Allowable Development <br /> (MAD) limitations. Confirmation of the scope will allow staff to complete the <br /> environmental review, and bring forward General Plan and DTPP amendments for <br /> Council consideration. The process for these amendments and associated legal and <br /> environmental review requirements are explained in detail throughout this report.
