Exhibit "A" 7.1.C. - Page 6 <br /> SCOPE OF SERVICES AND FEES <br /> Scope of Services <br /> Consultant will provide thorough, accurate and professional services as follows: <br /> Type of Service Fee <br /> (Structural) Structural Plan Review Services including Building Code 50% of Plan <br /> structural regulations Review fee <br /> (Combo) Combination Building Plan Review Services (Combo), including 75% of Plan <br /> Building Code Structural & Non-Structural, Green Building Code, Energy Review fee <br /> Code, Plumbing Code, Mechanical Code, Electrical Code and Fire Code <br /> (Hourly Combo) Combo Review of Preliminary Plans, Project Revisions or $125.00 per <br /> Peer Review of Projects as Directed by the Community Development Director Hour <br /> Field Inspection Services, including inspections for compliance to applicable $75.00 per <br /> State of California Building, Mechancial, Electrical, Plumbing and Fire codes Hour <br /> as applicable <br /> Permitting Services, including permit processing to assist architects, $55.00 per <br /> contractors and the public and calculating fees Hour <br /> All % of Plan Review services provided by the consultant shall include the initial plan review and all <br /> subsequent re-reviews as necessary for building permit issuance. <br /> Permit plans and documentation for Off-Site plan review will be picked up by the consultant <br /> messengers or will be shipped to their main office by Fed Ex using the consultant account number. <br /> All costs for pickup or delivery will be included in plan review fee and no additional compensation will <br /> be provided. <br /> Off-Site plan reviews shall be completed within 10-working days. Written plan review comments shall be <br /> delivered to the City in electronic format within 24-hours of completion of review. When final review is <br /> approved, Consultant shall deliver two final sets of approved plans with approval stamps and signatures to <br /> the city within 24 hours of final review and approval. <br /> Consultant will perform building and public works inspection services as directed by the City of Redwood <br /> City Chief Building official or City Building and Safety Division designee. These services will include review of <br /> all approved plans, specifications and documents, review and respond to all inspection requests and <br /> reports, attend mandatory meetings, including safety training and project management perform inspections <br /> for compliance to applicable State of California Building, Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, Fire codes, as <br /> well as State energy efficiency and accessibility standards as amended by the City of Redwood City. <br /> Consultant's services may include a State of California registered Fire Protection Engineer, to complete <br /> all Fire Code inspection services requested by the City, or CASp certified inspections as needed <br /> Consultant will provide permit processing services to assist architects, contractors and the public in <br /> accepting, processing and tracking applications for building permits, calculating and collecting permit fees, <br /> and providing general Plan and Zoning information.
