CIVIC CULTURAL COMMISSION Minutes of Meeting March 4 , 1976 Page 2 AGENDA ITEM 3 - Plans for " Youth in Government Day " April 7 , 1976 : Mr . Weeks said it is planned to have the Commissioners present during the orientation session , then accompany the students to the mock Council meeting and on to the luncheon . Mrs , Howitt and Mrs . Kennedy will attend the full session , and Mrs . Bergman can be there until 10 : 30 , a . m . Mrs . Poncia will be contacted to see whether she can be there . Participating students are selected from a group of students who indicate their interest . REPORTS : 1 . Sally Hartman reported that the Recreation Center people are putting material together to be sent to the schools . The persons working on this are Priscilla Moser and Cheryl Stout . 2 . Mr . Weeks said there have been no further developments with regard to the sculpture -fountain project . 3 . Mrs . Poncia ' s report on her meeting with Mrs . Ruby Kueffer and the City Spirit Committee was held over to the next meeting . ANNOUNCEMENTS 01 COMING EVENTS ; 1 . The Peninsula Hills Jr . Women ' s Club will hold their Antique Show and Sale at the Community Activities Building on March 19 , 20 , and 21 . 2 . San Mateo County Arts Council nine Arts Tour to the San Francisco .Museum of Modern Art , Monday , April 26 , leaving by bus from San Mateo County Arts Council , 141 Borel Avenue , San Mateo , at 6 : 30 , p . m . ; arriving back at approximately 10 : 30 . $8 . 00 to members and $10 . 00 to non -members includes transportation, and wine tasting . Original art of Picasso , Braque , and Leger will be viewed . 3 . It was mentioned that the terms on the Commission for Mr . Buickerood and Mr . Vega will expire April 30 .
