Beam said she will conduct a show February 12 , 13 , and 14 , at the Diamond Heights Shopping Center - at Diamond Heights Boulevard and Gold 4ine , San Francisco , which Commission members might like to observe . The motion was made by John Krueger , seconded by Fernando Vega , that the Commission accept the plan presented , subject to ap - proval of the City and the Downtown Merchants . Motion carried . Mrs . Poncia and Mr . Weeks will meet with the Downtown Merchants and the City to present the plan . AGENDA ITEM 2 - Presentation of Pro • osed Bicentennial Mural : No one appeared for the Latin-American Spanish-Speaking Organi - zation ( LASSO ) to present the proposal . REPORTS : 1 . Library Mural : Alice Kennedy said she had spoken to Mr . Heidsick at Canada College , who said a student group would be assigned to the Library Mural project . They will be in touch with Mr . Voll - mayer , who will show them the space and give them an idea of what might be done . Designs will be presented to the Commission . At that time , a prospective calendar can be developed . Funds will need to be provided for materials . 2 . Sculpture -Fountain : Mrs . Poncia had nothing further to report from the Downtown Merchants ' Association regarding the sculpture - fountain . Mr . Weeks said he had talked with Mr . Pusich , Director of Public Works , who said bids have now been received on pumping equipment . They are still awaiting a contractor ' s bid on the setting for the sculpture and have been in touch with Mr . Nissen . The plan may have to be scaled down considerably to be economically feasible . OTHER : 1 . Mr . Weeks said Sally Hartman is awaiting further participation as our representative on the San Mateo County Arts Council ' s County Spirit Multicultural Task Force .
