Box 295 , Redwood City <br /> Kathleen Mahaney , 1026 Vera Avenue , Redwood City <br /> Neil Smith , 1805 , 1600, Beach Avenue , Vancouver , B .C . <br /> Larry Irons , 3733 Jefferson Avenue , Redwood City <br /> Ron MacQuarrie , 558 Keelson Circle , Redwood City <br /> Vice-Chairwoman Mary Henderson called the meeting to order at 7 : 05 A .M. <br /> Housing Aide Ransom informed the Committee that the proposed Housing Element for <br /> San Mateo County would be the subject of a public hearing before the Board of <br /> Supervisors on Jant ry 115 5 1973 He asked if the Committee wished to make a <br /> presentation to the Supervisors on the matter, as it had to the County Planning <br /> Commission . Mary Henderson suggested that , unless there was objection , the <br /> Committee ask the Mayo/ to represent its views before the Supervisors . There <br /> ,was no objection . <br /> Housing Aide Ransom asked whether or not it was the pleasure of the Committee <br /> to hold its regularly scheduled December. 27 meeting . It was not . <br /> Housing Aide Ransom informed the Committee that the discussion of Area "A" of <br /> the Housing Target Area would have to be put off until the next Housing Concerns <br /> Committee meeting (January 10 ) because of the illness of Urban Affairs Specialist <br /> . Richard Rivas . <br /> The next agenda item was low/moderate -income housing in Redwood Shores . Mary <br /> Henderson referred to a letter from the Land for People Organization ( appended ) , <br /> and asked LFP-member Max Rice to summarize its contents . <br /> Max Rice said that the letter reiterated a point brought up at the last meeting- - <br /> that it was important for the City to make some very specific recommendations <br /> regarding low/moderate-income housing in the Shores so that Mobil will know what <br /> is expected of them .
