Keckley . • STAFF PRESENT : Assistant City Manager Smith, Building Official Gyselbrecht , Planning Director Schroeter , and Housing Aide Ransom. Larry Irons , 3733 Jefferson Avenue , Redwood City Ron MacQuarrie , 558 Keelson Circle , Redwood City Vice-Chairwoman Mary Henderson called the meeting to order at 7 : 05 A .M. Housing Aide Ransom informed the Committee that the proposed Housing Element for San Mateo County would be the subject of a public hearing before the Board of Supervisors on Jant ry 115 5 1973 He asked if the Committee wished to make a presentation to the Supervisors on the matter, as it had to the County Planning Commission . Mary Henderson suggested that , unless there was objection , the Committee ask the Mayo/ to represent its views before the Supervisors . There ,was no objection . Housing Aide Ransom asked whether or not it was the pleasure of the Committee to hold its regularly scheduled December. 27 meeting . It was not . Housing Aide Ransom informed the Committee that the discussion of Area "A" of the Housing Target Area would have to be put off until the next Housing Concerns Committee meeting (January 10 ) because of the illness of Urban Affairs Specialist . Richard Rivas . The next agenda item was low/moderate -income housing in Redwood Shores . Mary Henderson referred to a letter from the Land for People Organization ( appended ) , and asked LFP-member Max Rice to summarize its contents . Max Rice said that the letter reiterated a point brought up at the last meeting- - that it was important for the City to make some very specific recommendations regarding low/moderate-income housing in the Shores so that Mobil will know what is expected of them . Re said LFP noted that the statements offered by Mary Henderson and Bob Norris were "steps in the right direction" --out that they needed fleshing out .
