MINUTE ORDER <br /> CITY COUNCIL MEETING <br /> <br /> May 14, 2001 <br /> MO. 01-71 <br /> <br />CITY CLERK DEPARTMENT <br />Redwood City <br /> <br />DATE: May 15, 2001 <br /> <br />Attention: City Attorney <br /> Public Works <br /> <br />SUBJECT By motion, direct the Public Works Services Director to initiate <br /> negotiations with some Bay Area Water Users Association member <br /> agencies <br /> <br />Meeting of the Council of the City of Redwood City on May 14, 2001. <br /> <br />Present: Councilmember Howard, Ira, Jordan, Pierce, Vice Mayor Claire and Mayor <br />Ruskin <br /> <br />Absent: Hartnett <br /> <br />The following motion was made, carried and entered on the Minutes: <br /> <br /> MS: Howard/Ira - By motion, direct the Public Works Services Director <br /> to initiate negotiations with some Bay Area Water Users <br /> Association member agencies for first refusal rights to dry year <br /> water transfers, pursuant to "Tier Two" of the Interim Water <br /> Supply Allocation Plan (initial contacts will be made as soon as all <br /> 29 agencies have approved the plan) <br /> <br /> The motion passed by unanimous roll call vote by those present <br /> with Harmett absent. <br /> <br />City Clerk <br /> <br /> <br />
