EXHIBIT "A" Scope of Services ._..,. CONSOLIDATED PLAN:TASK DESCRIPTIONS `- a�� Consistent with federal requirements,Consultant will assist in the preparation of the required update to the City of Redwood City's Consolidated Plan by providing the following: Task 1: Consultant will, using material gathered from other relevant documents, including the prior ConPlan and the recently-adopted Housing Element, update all sections in the Needs and Market Conditions chapters. Consultant will add new narrative where needed to explain the IDIS-generated data. Consultant will assist in the completion of the Five-Year Strategy. Consultant will draft an Executive Summary. Task 2: Consultant will incorporate actions from the Fair Housing Action Plan and enter information into IDIS. Consultant will add any additional narrative that might be required. Task 3: Consultant will assist with any other HUD related technical assistance, as requested. CONSOLIDATED PLAN:AMENDMENT NO.1 PROJECT BUDGET The following table provides additional projected budgetary needs for the amended scope of work to include Tasks 1,2 and 3. Item Cost Hours Task 1:editing,additional data compilation $5,040 36 Task 2:incorporation of Fair Housing Action Plan $2,800 20 Task 3:additional HUD related technical assistance $2,230 14 TOTALS $10,070 70 This scope is an estimate and, including the original agreement, has a not-to-exceed budget of$20,000. The hourly rate for this project will be $140 per hour. This contract is proposed with expenses not to exceed approximately 2%. Expenses include, but are not limited to: copying/printing, mileage, and similar expenses. Travel time is billed at$85 per hour. A total of 19 hours of ineeting time are included, of which 10 hours has been allotted for public meetings/hearings. If additional hours are required for public meetings, or if additional, unforeseen tasks arise,they will be billed on a time and materials basis. ADDITIONAL ACTIONS Staffing -- As sole proprietor, Ms. Elrod is responsible for all aspects of the completion of these tasks. No additional staff or consultants will be utilized.
