10.A. - Page 1 <br /> Redwood <br /> MN California <br /> L Fouoded1861 <br /> CITY COUNCIL MEMBER REPORT OF CONFERENCE /MEETING ATTENDANCE <br /> Name: Jeffrey Gee, Mayor Vendor No.: <br /> Department: Council Voucher No.: <br /> Responsible Standing Committee: Mayor is the voting member at the Council of Cities — <br /> City Selection Committee <br /> Conference or meeting: Council of Cities Meeting — City Selection Committee <br /> On December 19, 2014, I attended the Council of Cities Meeting at the Fire Station in the <br /> Town of Colma. <br /> On the agenda were numerous appointments for regional seats handled through the City <br /> Selection Committee, including appointments to the Bay Area Air Quality Management <br /> District, the San Mateo County Transportation Authority, SamTrans, the Joint Powers <br /> Authority (JPB), and others. For Redwood City, the results of the votes taken at this <br /> meeting are as follows: <br /> Rosanne Foust, Vice Mayor, was selected and reappointed to the San Mateo <br /> County Transportation Authority (SMCTA) representing the Southern Judicial <br /> Cities for a term of two (2) years beginning January 1, 2015 through December <br /> 31, 2016 <br /> Jeffrey Gee, Mayor, was selected to serve on the Peninsula Corridor Joint <br /> Powers Board (CalTrain), representing all San Mateo County Cities — there is no <br /> term length as long as the underlying appointment (SamTrans) remains. <br /> It is an honor to attend this important regional meeting, and to cast Redwood City's votes <br /> on these important regional appointments. In addition, over 100 elected officials from <br /> throughout San Mateo County were in attendance. <br /> 01/08/2015 <br /> Signature of Council Member Date <br /> The Administrative Code requires reports of conferences or meetings for which a council member requests per diem or expense reimbursement. <br /> Reports must be submitted to the City Clerk of no later than the Wednesday of the week before the next City Council meeting. Reports must be <br /> submitted before the City of Redwood City will pay per diem or reimbursement for the conference or the meeting. Reports are not required for City <br /> Council meetings, or meetings with Council members, the City Manager, City Attorney or City Clerk. <br />
