Ms. Jessica Manzi, Senior Transportation Coordinator responded to some of the questions posed by this member of the public. Vice Mayor Foust asked clarifying questions regarding the Bike Share program and the monthly permit fee. Ms. Manzi said that the Bike Share Program is a pilot and it is continuously being monitored. She provided information on the monthly fee as well. Mayor Gee said that the Bike Share is part of a larger pilot program including the Last Mile project which is important and valuable for those who use public/shared transportation. M/S Seybert/Aguirre to adopt the Ordinance. Motion carried unanimously by electronic vote with Council Members Howard and Pierce absent. One Council Member opined that increasing parking supply will also need to be an option on the horizon versus controlling parking options. M/S Aguirre/Foust to adopt the Resolution to establish a City Car Share Program. Motion carried unanimously by electronic vote with Council Members Howard and Pierce absent. M/S FousUBain to adopt the Resolution to establish an Electric-Charging Parking Program. Motion carried unanimously by electronic vote with Council Members Howard and Pierce absent. 9. STAFF REPORT(S) - None. 10. MATTERS OF COUNCIL INTEREST A. City Council Member Reports of Conferences Attended Vice Mayor Foust said that it is important that we encourage employers to have child care on campus. She believes this is part of the community benefits discussion. Council Member Aguirre attended the League of CA Board Members training and the priorities are coming out very soon so stay tune for the Leagues' priorities. Council Member Seybert said he represented the Council at a recent C/CAG meeting. He also attended the Redwood City San Mateo County Chambers Leadership Class where Council Member Aguirre presented this last Friday and he really enjoyed the class and the presentations and the community representation. Council Member Bain attended a reception honoring the MacNivens for their philanthropy and he noted that in Redwood City they restored the Fitzptrick Building. He presented on behalf of the City Council, a proclamation for their active involvement in the communities they serve and it was a very good event. Mayor Gee congratulated the First United Methodist Church for its 150th Anniversary and he enjoyed the celebration.
