EXHIBIT "A" <br /> SCOPE OF SERVICES <br /> CONSULTANT shall provide professional civil and transportation engineering services to <br /> assist the City's Community Development Department with ongoing community requests <br /> and projects on an as-needed basis. <br /> The scope of services includes, but is not limited to the following potential activities: <br /> • Coordinate data collection and analysis for engineering and traffic surveys, <br /> • Respond to public requests for traffic calming, including the completion of <br /> appropriate field work, traffic engineering analysis and communication with <br /> constituents, <br /> • Respond to various public requests regarding parking and traffic-related <br /> concerns, including appropriate field work, analysis and drafting of work orders <br /> for implementation of changes, <br /> • Assist in the development of an annual traffic monitoring program, and <br /> • Manage various small transportation projects as directed by the City's Senior <br /> Transportation Coordinator. <br /> TIME SCHEDULE <br /> The schedule for the work shall be on an as-needed basis. It is anticipated that the <br /> staffing need to complete field work and coordinate with appropriate City staff will be 0.4 <br /> FTE for someone working primarily in City Hall. This level of effort will adjust from time <br /> to time based on current needs. <br /> For tasks that may be completed outside of City Hall: upon request by the CITY, <br /> CONSULTANT shall prepare a specific task order outlining the CONSULTANT roles <br /> and responsibilities for the identified task as well as the associated budget within one <br /> (1) week of the request. Concurrence between the CITY and CONSULTANT on the task <br /> activity(ies) and budget shall be memorialized via email or letter prior to CONSULTANT <br /> starting work on the task. <br /> PAYMENT TERMS <br /> CONSULTANT shall charge the standard hourly rates for services as listed in the fee <br /> schedule below.
