pertaining to labor standards insofar as those acts apply to the performance of <br /> this Agreement. Contractor agrees to comply with the Copeland Anti-Kickback <br /> Act (18 U.S.C. 874 et seq.) and it's implementing regulations of the U.S. <br /> Department of Labor at 29 CFR Part 5. <br /> Contractor agrees that, pursuant to 42 USC 5310, all laborers and <br /> mechanics employed by contractors or subcontractors in the perFormance of <br /> construction work financed in whole or in part with assistance received from the <br /> Community Development Block Grant Funds shall be paid wages at rates not <br /> less than those prevailing on similar construction in the locality as determined by <br /> the Secretary of Labor in accordance with the Davis-Bacon Act, as amended (40 <br /> U.S.C. 276a-276a-5); provided that this section shall apply to the construction or <br /> rehabilitation of residential property only if such property contains not less than 8 <br /> units. <br /> A paragraph shall be incorporated in every agreement between Contractor <br /> and third parties in connection to the Project stating that the third party must <br /> comply with California Labor Laws and applicable Federal requirements. <br /> Contractor shall maintain documentation that demonstrates compliance with hour <br /> and wage requirements of this part. Such documentation shall be made available <br /> to the City for review upon request. <br /> 22. SECTION 3 OF THE HOUSING AND URBAN DEVELOPMENT <br /> ACT OF 1986.
