02/23/2015 <br /> ORIGINAL <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 15394 <br /> RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> REDWOOD CITY AMENDING THE CITY'S CLASSIFICATION AND <br /> SALARY PLAN TO ESTABLISH THE CLASSIFICATIONS OF GIS <br /> TECHNICIAN AND POLICE EVIDENCE AND PROPERTY ROOM <br /> COORDINATOR <br /> WHEREAS, the City Manager has requested that new classifications be <br /> established to meet the current and future operational needs for the City; and <br /> WHEREAS, the classification specifications were prepared by Human Resources <br /> staff in consultation with department management to ensure the foreseeable needs.of <br /> the organization were met; and <br /> WHEREAS, Human Resources staff conducted salary studies and met and <br /> conferred with Service Employees International Union Local 521 (SEIU), and reached <br /> agreement on the recommended salary ranges as listed in Exhibit "A." <br /> NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br /> OF REDWOOD CITY AS FOLLOWS: <br /> 1. The recitals set forth above are true and correct and are hereby <br /> incorporated by this reference as if fully set forth in their entirety. <br /> 2.
