<br /> EXHIBIT "A" <br /> SCOPE OF SERVICES <br />Consultant will provide various professional consulting services related to the City of Redwood <br />City's on-going, long-term water supply planning effort, at the direction of the City's Public <br />Works Services Director or his/her designee. Discreet work assignments / tasks may include <br />the following: <br />1. Amendments and revisions to the City's Urban Water Management Plan. This includes <br /> consultation on and updating of water use forecasts, water supply reliability, evaluation <br /> of water conservation best management practices, and water shortage contingency <br /> plans. <br />2. Consultation and/or design of request-for-proposals process for new water conservation <br /> programs. <br />3. Update / refinement of the City's Water Allocation Program (W AP) <br />4. Update of lOW ate Rate" software for management of water and sewer enterprise funds. <br /> Services will include set-up, calibration, data refinement and training of City staff. <br />5. Consultation, research and development of alternative water rate structures. <br />6. Input to and/or drafting of City responses to S8221 and S8610 water supply <br /> assessments / verifications related to new development within the City's water service <br /> area. <br />7. Collaboration with City staff and SFPUC staff / consultants on regional water supply / <br /> demand forecasting. <br />8. Other water supply planning activities as requested by the City. <br />When the City desires the Consultant to begin a work assignment, the Public Works Services <br />Director and the Consultant shall jointly develop a scope, schedule and budget for the <br />assignment, as well as a priority ranking, if other assignments are in progress. A review of <br />expenditures to date and remaining Agreement budget shall occur at such junctures. <br />All work performed shall be billed monthly per the terms and conditions of Exhibit 8 of this <br />Agreement. <br />Agreement over $10K 10 <br />City Attorney Approved Version 101003 <br />
