Letter from City of Daly City urging support of <br /> AB 1331 re membership on the Bay Area Air Pollu- <br /> tion Control District <br /> There being no objection Mayor Weymouth referred .-•, <br /> the subject letter to the Legislative Committee. <br /> (Memo 40.0 <br /> Councilman Henderson, Chairman of the Legislative <br /> Committee, advised that the Committee will meet <br /> at 7:30 a.m. , Tuesday, May 13, 1975 in the office <br /> of the City Attorney. <br /> 2 . Letter from Coordinator, Government Affairs Program <br /> at Sequoia High School re police department parti- <br /> cipation in the Program <br /> There being no objection, Mayor Weymouth ordered <br /> the subject letter referred to staff for reply. <br /> City Manager Fales advised that a written report <br /> will be provided in accordance with customary <br /> procedure . (Memo 5/6/75) <br /> Oral Communications <br /> 1. City Manager Fales brought the Council up to date <br /> with regard to the status of the application to <br /> construct a water reservoir at Redwood Shores. He <br /> commented on the letter of April 28, 1975 received <br /> by Councilman Henderson from Congressman McCloskey <br /> reporting information he has received regarding <br /> reluctance of the Army Corps of Engineers to make <br /> a decision on the application pending court de- <br /> cision in the case of Leslie Salt vs. Froehike . <br /> It was observed that Councilman Henderson will meet <br /> with Congressman McCloskey next week. <br /> 2 . In response to question whether the Civic Center <br /> Study will be an Agenda item, City Manager Fales <br /> advised that the Study has been distributed in <br /> order that it may be reviewed by Council members <br /> at their leisure, adding that a study session with <br /> the architects, Gensler and Associates, is planned <br /> for a later date, after the budget sessions. <br /> Adjournment <br /> MOTION: Councilman Barrett moved, seconded by Council- <br /> man Henderson, to adjourn to a public session for study <br /> of the proposed Annual Budget 1975-1976 at 9:00 a.m. , <br /> Saturday, May 10, 1975 at the Community Activities ^' <br /> Building, 1400 Roosevelt. <br /> The motion carried unanimously by voice vote . <br /> The Council adjourned at 8 :55 p.m. <br /> i1 <br /> JACQUELINE C.
