The Pledge of Allegiance was led by Councilman Henderson. The Invocation was led by the Reverend Charles Waite, First Free Methodist Church Roll Call Councilmen present : Barrett, Henderson, Leipzig, Norris (arrived 8 :30 p.m. ) , Williams and Mayor Weymouth Councilmen absent : None Officials and staff present : City Manager Pales, City Attorney Schricker, Assistant City Manager Smith, City Clerk Hildebrand and Planning Director Schroeter, Building Official Gyselbrecht, Director of Buildings and Transportation Balsamo, Police Chief Bold Approval of Minutes MOTION: Councilman Leipzig moved, seconded by Council- man Barrett, to approve as submitted the following minutes : , May 31, 1975 Budget Study Session June 2, 1975 Executive Session June 2, 1975 City Council Meeting The motion carried unanimously by voice vote . Legislative Committee Report No. 75-3 Councilman Henderson, Chairman of the Legislative Com- mittee, reviewed Committee Report No. 75-3, summarizing the recommendations contained therein. Betty Casey, 166 Warwick, San Mateo County Citizens Action League and Electricity & Gas for People, commended the Committee for their recommendation of support for AB 167 Lifeline Gas and Electricity for Residential Users, stating the Council will be the first city in the County to go on record in support of the bill. Mrs . Casey ad- vised of the support for AB 167 expressed by San Mateo County legislators and others. Reg.Mtg. 6/9/75
