76 <br /> Mayor Hay A Weymonih Redwood I M I N U T E S <br /> vice Mayor Janas S Williams Celitornla <br /> City City Council <br /> Coum ilmen <br /> Ry b onnmI1M11 , of the <br /> Michael J Damn City of Redwood City <br /> Comm <br /> Mary W Render en unity Activities Building <br /> Marguerite Leipzig July 21, 1975 <br /> Robert E Norris <br /> William C Rhodes <br /> Board of Equalization <br /> 'The Council of the City of Redwood City meeting as the <br /> Board of Equalization of General Improvement District <br /> No. 1-64 met on this date at 10 :00 a.m. with Mayor <br /> Weymouth presiding. <br /> Roll Call <br /> Councilmen present : Barrett (arrived 10 :02 a.m. ) <br /> Henderson, Leipzig, Norris, Rhodes, <br /> Williams and Mayor Weymouth <br /> Councilmen absent : None <br /> Officials and staff present : City Manager Fales, City <br /> Attorney Schricker, City Controller-Assessor Ference, <br /> City Clerk Hildebrand <br /> Public Hearing <br /> Mayor Weymouth declared open at 10 :01 a .m. the public <br /> hearing on the Assessment Roll for GID No. 1-64. <br /> City Clerk Hildebrand reported the Affidavit of Publica- <br /> tion of Notice of Hearing is on file in her office and <br /> no written verified applications for reduction of <br /> assessment of property or other written communication <br /> have been received . <br /> City Controller-Assessor Ference introduced Jerry <br /> Stringer, appraiser from Marshall and Stevens who offered <br /> to reply to any questions Council members may have con- <br /> cerning the assessment roll. <br /> Attention was called to the report of the City Controller- <br /> Assessor of July 17, 1975 regarding the Assessment Roll <br /> and advising the market absorption study to determine <br /> the rate raw land could normally be developed by a pru- <br /> dent subdivider which was authorized by Council is ex- <br /> pected to be completed this fall and will be used in <br /> appraisals for the 1976-77 tax year. <br /> In response to question, Mr. Ference advised that it is <br /> planned that appraisals will be made every other year in <br /> the future. Mr. Ference observed that no changes were <br /> made for the current year except where there were changes <br /> made in the property, noting that certain lands which <br /> were subdivided were reappraised. <br /> Board of Equal. <br /> 7/21/75 <br />
