Rhodes Regular Meeting The Council of the City of Redwood City met on this date at 7:30 p.m. with Mayor Weymouth presiding. The Pledge of Allegiance was led by Councilman Leipzig. The Invocation was led by Father Lloyd F. Gebhart, St. Peter' s Episcopal Church. Roll Call Councilmen present : Barrett, Henderson, Leipzig, Norris, Rhodes, Williams (arrived 7:38 p.m.) , and Mayor Weymouth Councilmen absent : None The Government Affairs Program students present intro- duced themselves. Officials and staff present : City Manager Fales, City kbow Attorney Schricker, Assistant City Manager Smith, City Clerk Hildebrand and Director of Public Works Pusich, Planning Director Schroeter, Parks and Recreation Director Weeks, Police Chief Bold, Fire Chief Keller Approval of Minutes See page 2. Report of Park and Recreation Commission re proposed park naming policy and guidelines City Manager Fales referred to his report of January 31 attaching report from the Director of Parks and Recrea- tion transmitting the subject report to Council. The members of the Park and Recreation Commission were complimented on their well thought out policy and guidelines for naming City parks. MOTION: Councilman Leipzig moved, seconded by Council- man Barrett, to accept the report of the Park and Recrea- __ tion Commission and adopt the proposed park naming policy and guidelines as recommended by the Commission.
