174 <br /> Future Meetings <br /> Mayor Weymouth announced that the Council will meet as a Board of <br /> Equalization at 9 30 a m. , Monday, November 10, 1975 in the Com- <br /> munity Activities Building. (Note information received later <br /> resulted in cancellation of meeting on that date. ) <br /> Mayor Weymouth also announced that the City Council will hold a <br /> joint meeting with the Park and Recreation Commission at 4 00 p m , <br /> Monday, November 17, 1975 at the Community Activities Building for <br /> the purpose of hearing a presentation on standards for park de- <br /> velopment <br /> Appointments - Fair Oaks Community Center <br /> Advisory Board and Civic Cultural Commission <br /> MOTION Councilman Henderson moved, seconded by Councilman Leipzig, <br /> that Jacqueline Washington and Annie Edwards be appointed to the <br /> Advisory Board of the Fair Oaks Community Center and that Miguel , <br /> Maldonado be permitted to complete his present term <br /> It was pointed out that Mr Maldonado has moved out of the City <br /> but continues to reside in the area designated the "Target Area" <br /> served by the Fair Oaks Community Center <br /> The motion carried unanimously by voice vote. <br /> (MINUTE ORDER NO. 75-218) <br /> MOTION Councilman Williams moved, seconded by Councilman Henderson, <br /> to appoint Mrs. Zelda (Bernard) Bergman and John H Krueger, to <br /> fill vacancies existing on the Civic Cultural Commission, with both <br /> terms expiring April 30, 1978 <br /> The motion carried unanimously by voice vote. <br /> MINUTE ORDER NO 75-219) <br /> Proposed Comprehensive General Plan <br /> Planning Director Schroeter called attention to the copy of the <br /> Proposed Comprehensive General Plan distributed to each member of <br /> Council and conveyed the Planning Commission request that a joint <br /> meeting be held regarding it <br /> Discussion followed and Assistant City Attorney Maloney and City <br /> Manager Fales replied to questions and commented concerning whether <br /> any type of joint meeting with the Planning Commission for considera- <br /> tion of the Plan is permitted <br /> It was consensus of Council that Messrs Fales, Schroeter and Maloney <br /> will discuss the question of a joint meeting of some kind between <br /> the Council and the Planning Commission with City Attorney Schricker, <br /> and that such a meeting could be held at 7 30 p m. , Tuesday, <br /> November 11 , 1975 at the Community Activities Building <br /> (memo 10/14/75) <br /> -10- <br /> Reg.Mtg. <br /> 10/13/75 <br />
