192 <br /> Consent Calendar (continued) <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 1656 REPEALING CHAPTER 27 OF, AND ADDING CHAPTER 27 <br /> TO, THE CODE OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, ESTABLISHING REGULA- <br /> TIONS AND AUTHORIZING THE IMPOSITION OF FEES RELATING TO THE <br /> USE OF SANITARY SEWERAGE AND STORM WATER DRAINAGE FACILITIES <br /> (approved 11/3/75) <br /> Claim Mike Harris, 597 Hermitage Street, San Jose; property <br /> damage allegedly caused by driver of City utility truck <br /> Recommend denial and refer to insurance carrier <br /> (MINUTE ORDER NO. 75-231 ) <br /> Approval of warrants nos. 17,478 through 17,629, totaling <br /> $167,360.15 <br /> City Attorney Schricker advised he had received a telephone call from <br /> Diamond Shamrock Chemical Company advising that a statement from the <br /> Company would be distributed today <br /> Mayor Weymouth advised that a letter attaching a statement had been <br /> received from Richard D Hall of Diamond Shamrock of Cleveland, Ohio, <br /> today and had been copied and distributed to Council members during <br /> the meeting. <br /> Director of Public Works Pusich advised that discussion had been held <br /> with Mr Hall on the matters contained in his statement and that it <br /> is being filed for future reference. <br /> City Manager Fales advised that discussions were held with all in- <br /> dividual industries and with their organizations with regard to the <br /> South Bayside System Authority with respect to the provisions of the <br /> proposed ordinance and that their objections were largely directed <br /> at matters dictated by the federal government <br /> In response to question concerning the prospective annexation, Mr. <br /> Schricker advised that his letter of October 29 to Walter Cook of <br /> State Lands Division was in response to a letter received by Mr. <br /> Schricker from Mr. Cook. <br /> The motion carried unanimously by roll call vote <br /> Adjournment <br /> MOTION Councilman Henderson moved, seconded by Councilman <br /> Rhodes, to adjourn to Tuesday, November 11 , 1975 at the Veterans <br /> Memorial Building, 1455 Madison Avenue, for the purpose of con- <br /> ducting a public hearing on the proposed Comprehensive General Plan; <br /> and further to an executive session at 4.00 p.m , Thursday, <br /> November 13, 1975 in the City Manager's Office for the purpose of <br /> considering labor negotiations <br /> The motion carried unanimously by voice vote. <br /> The Council adjourned at 8.40 p.m <br /> JACQUELINE C HILDEBRAND <br /> City Clerk <br /> -6- <br /> Reg.Mtg <br /> 11/10/75 <br />
