(Memo 3 ./11/75 <br /> In response to question, City Clerk Hildebrand advised <br /> that letters which appear on the "Written Communications" <br /> part of the Agenda are those addressed to the City Coun- <br /> cil which request action which is within the jurisdiction <br /> of the Council and on which the Council has not already <br /> acted. Mrs. Hildebrand advised that when a Council <br /> position has been taken, the letter is copied and dis- <br /> tributed for information and the author advised of the <br /> action already taken. She advised further that all <br /> correspondence addressed to the Council is copied and <br /> distributed in the weekly packets. <br /> 7. Letters signed by Lorene Wilson, Chairperson, from <br /> "PROBE" and from Target Education & Welfare Council, <br /> Inc. regarding board memberships <br /> Assistant City Manager Smith reminded Council that <br /> `„ the City does not now have a seat on the Board of <br /> Directors of either organization and does not an- <br /> ticipate requesting one . Mayor Weymouth then <br /> ordered both letters filed without action. <br /> Oral Communications <br /> 1. Bruce Norris, 470 Neptune Drive, invited Council <br /> members and their families to attend the production <br /> of "America Is Us", a patriotic variety show, to <br /> be held at the Notre Dame High School Auditorium, <br /> Belmont, on Thursday through Saturday, March 20, <br /> 21 and 22 at 8:00 p.m. Mr. Norris advised that <br /> more than 100 participants from Ralston Intermediate <br /> School are taking part in the show and asked Council <br /> members to let him know the number of tickets they <br /> will require. <br /> Mayor Weymouth thanked Mr. Norris for the invitation <br /> and offered the Council 's best wishes for the suc- <br /> cess of the production. <br /> .-• 2.
