Regular Meeting The Council of the City of Redwood City met on this date at 7:30 p.m. with Mayor Weymouth presiding. The Presentation of the Colors and Pledge of Allegiance was led by the members of Girl Scout Troop 1089. The invocation was led by the Reverend Michael McMahon of the Peninsula Christian Center. Roll Call Councilmen present : Henderson, Leipzig, Norris, Rhodes and Mayor Weymouth Councilmen absent: Barrett, Williams GAP Students Present: Walsh, Coyne, Dupree, Fontes, Hiscox, Morozovsky Officials and staff present: City Manager Pales, City Attorney Schricker, Assistant City Manager Smith, City Treasurer-Collector Drivon, City Clerk Hildebrand and Director of Public Works Pusich, Planning Director Schroeter, Parks and Recreation Director Weeks and Police Chief Bold Approval of Minutes - March 10, 1975 MOTION: Councilman Norris moved, seconded by Councilman Rhodes, approval of the Minutes of the City Council meet- ing of March 10, 1975 as submitted. The motion carried unanimously by voice vote, Councilman Leipzig abstaining. Presentation • The members of Girl Scout Troop 1089 presented to the City a scrapbook containing rubbings of historical plaques in Redwood City and sketches made by Troop members as part of their Community Badge project. Troop Leader Mrs. Tamara Piulle expressed the concern of Troop members that the plaques be preserved. had On behalf of Council members, Mayor Weymouth accepted the scrapbook and thanked the Scouts for their contri- bution to preserving some of the history of Redwood City.
