4 4 <br /> GENERAL <br /> Councilman Bury noted the passing on May 13 of John Brophy, former City <br /> Assessor-Auditor, and Mayor Biagi advised that Council will adjourn <br /> from its June 1, 1981 meeting in his memory. <br /> Councilman Leipzig referred to a recent agenda of the Midpeninsula <br /> Regional Open Space District which listed an item relating to proposed <br /> acquisition of San Mateo County Baylands with grant funds, and <br /> suggested this might be a matter for the Legislative Committee to <br /> consider at its next meeting. (Memo 5/19/81) <br /> ADJOURNMENT - In memory of George Garrett <br /> Mayor requested a moment of silence in honor of Sergeant George <br /> Garrett, following which he read in full the resolution commemorating <br /> his memory. <br /> Upon motion duly made, seconded and carried, the following resolution <br /> was adopted unanimously by acclamation: <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 8858 COMMEMORATING THE MEMORY <br /> OF SERGEANT GEORGE GARRETT <br /> Council adjourned at 8:35 p.m. to an adjourned regular meeting on <br /> Thursday, May 21, 1981, at 7:30 p.m. in the Veterans Memorial Building <br /> for a study session to consider Supplemental Report No. 2 of the Bartle <br /> Wells Report re GID No. 1-64. <br /> There will be no City Council meeting on May 25, 1981 because of the <br /> Memorial Day Holiday.
