Grading and Hauling Provisions Report of City Manager 9/17/18 rrri <br /> Report of Director of Public Works 9/3/81 <br /> ORDINANCE ADDING CHAPTER 41 TO THE CODE OF <br /> THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY RELATING TO GRADING <br /> AND HAULING; AND REPEALING SECTIONS 20.62 - <br /> 20.82, INCLUSIVE <br /> Director of Public Works Addiego described <br /> the proposed ordinance, commented on the <br /> fees proposed to be charged to recapture <br /> cost of damage done to streets by certain <br /> hauling and replied to questions concerning <br /> the impact on those likely to he affected. <br /> Council comment was made concerning the <br /> desirability of conducting study sessions <br /> on the proposed ordinance before it is to <br /> be considered by Council. <br /> Don Warren, President, Redwood Shores, <br /> Inc., 350 Marine World Parkway, reported he <br /> had just learned of the proposed ordinance, <br /> and he would like to have the opportunity <br /> to study it and discuss it with City staff <br /> and Council members, suggesting the <br /> financial impact might be dramatic. Mr. <br /> Warren requested that a committee be <br /> established to study potential impacts. <br /> M/S: Stangel/Leipzig that a committee of <br /> City staff, City Council members and other <br /> interested parties be established to <br /> consider the proposed grading and hauling <br /> ordinance. <br /> ADDITION TO MOTION: In response to <br /> request, Councilmen Britschgi, Bury and <br /> Leipzig agreed to serve on the proposed <br /> committee and there being no objection, <br /> Mayor Biagi asked that their names be <br /> included in the motion. <br /> The motion then carried unanimously by <br /> voice vote. <br /> MINUTE ORDER NO. 81-154 <br /> 4.
