M/S: Leipzig/Britschgi <br /> DESIGNATION OF AN AREA WITHIN THE RESOLUTION NO. 8979 <br /> CITY OF REDWOOD CITY AS A SURVEY AREA adopted unanimously by roll call vote. <br /> Councilman Bury referred to the item relating <br /> to contracting for street tree maintenance <br /> and suggested that firms under any type of <br /> contract to the City be reminded that they <br /> are representatives of the City and should be <br /> made to understand that they must conduct <br /> themselves as such. <br /> Mr. Fales assured Council that the firm doing <br /> this work on an interim basis recognizes that <br /> responsibility and is already very sensitive <br /> to it, and that any contractor would be <br /> briefed that they are expected to conduct <br /> themselves as representatives of the City. <br /> CONSENT CALENDAR CONSENT CALENDAR <br /> Councilman Bury advised that because of <br /> conflicts in his schedule, he will be unable <br /> to attend the ABAG General Assembly in Santa <br /> Rosa on October 24, for which he had the trot <br /> approval of Council, and hoped that another <br /> Council Member might be able to attend in his <br /> place. Mayor Biagi suggested that if any <br /> other Councilman could attend, to let <br /> Councilman Bury know. (Memo 10/13/81) <br /> M/S: Bury/Stangel to waive reading of the <br /> Consent Calendar and approve the items. <br /> Carried unanimously by voice vote. <br /> 8.
