i __ __ EXHIBIT A The Red Morton Park Joint City-YMCA of Silicon Valley Project is focused on site planning and building massing for Ciry facilities including a center for seniors, services for people with disabilities, sports/ recreational activities, performing arts, gymnasium and library services, and for a YMCA facility that includes aquatics, health and wellness, youth sports/fitness, day camp and childcare programs. The architecYs activities are intended to provide a guideline for long-term improvements and a basis for furthering the CEQA review process. The scope of Consultant services described herein is the minimum necessary to meet the City and YMCA objectives. The consultant is expected to expand on this listed scope of services by incorporating their expertise and proposed method of approach. PROJECT MANAGEMENT, DESIGN AND DELIVERABLES This task provides the overall management of the project. This task includes but is not limited to the following items that Consultant shall complete: 1. Provide project coordination; communicating project issues with the City and YMCA; setting up the project, including developing the ConsultanYs project work plan; preparing a project schedule as well as monitoring and updating that schedule; tracking and reporting job progress. 2. Attend up to seven (7) meetings with City and YMCA staff including a project kick-off meeting, initial design review meetings, pre-final design review meeting, and other potential meetings related to design and/or environmental review. 3. Provide multiple site plan options including building massing, common areas, parking and circulation including ingress / egress from Madison Avenue and Valota Road, showing the City and YMCA design elements. 4. Coordinate with Community Development Department to prepare for CEQA plan review. Deliverables for Phase l: Consultant shall complete a site plan and building massing showing the City and YMCA's facilities, and a detailed project description. Upon completion of this Project, the design shall be provided in AutoCAD (version 2013 or earlier) and PDF format to the City of Redwood City and the YMCA of Silicon Valley. The City and YMCA will have the right to use the files, data, drawings, specifications and other documents prepared by the Architect with respect to future or other additions or alterations to the Project, or the buildings of the Project and in connection with such use.
