(Non-Agenda item) Letter from Pablo Vega re Low Rider activities. <br /> CONSENSUS: Mayor Biagi determined that it is the consensus of Council that <br /> the letter received July 18, 1980 from Pablo Vega regarding low rider <br /> activities be referred to staff. (memo 7/22/80) <br /> City Manager Fales advised that the City always has representatives at <br /> the meeting mentioned by Mr. Vega. <br /> Pablo Vega, 217 Fifth Avenue, referred to his letter and invited Council <br /> members to attend a meeting on Thursday, July 24 from 7:00-9:00 p.m. at <br /> the Fair Oaks Community Center. Mayor Biagi advised that Council members <br /> have already made plans to attend a forum for elected officials conducted <br /> by the League of California Cities on that date, but that City representa- <br /> tives will be present. <br /> GENERAL <br /> 1. In response to inquiry about speed limits on Bair Island Road, City Manager <br /> Fales advised that the road will be monitored. <br /> In response to question regarding street lighting on Bair Island Road, Mr. <br /> Fales said that the developer will put in the street lights when the <br /> } lighting for the parking lot is installed which will depend upon con- <br /> } struction sequence. <br /> ADJOURNMENT - M/S: Rhodes/Bury to adjourn.
