Approval of agreement - Exercise/Jogging Report of City Manager 10/23/80 <br /> Course - Redwood Shores Report of Director of Parks and Recreation <br /> 9/26/80 <br /> Greg Doran, President, Redwood Shores Home- <br /> owners Association, advised that the exercise/ <br /> jogging course project was proposed by RSHA <br /> and Redwood Shores, Inc. and urged its approval. <br /> It was pointed out that the agreement provides <br /> that Redwood Shores, Inc. will provide $5,000 <br /> for the construction of the project, with RSHA <br /> to bear any difference between the $5,000 and <br /> actual cost; that Redwood Shores Inc. will be <br /> responsible for landscape maintenance on the <br /> part of its property subject to the easement; <br /> and with the City to maintain the course at a <br /> cost not to exceed $1500 per year if the pro- <br /> ject is acceptable to the City under the terms <br /> of the agreement. <br /> " Council members commended RSHA and Redwood <br /> Shores Inc. for proposing the project and <br /> assuming a substantial part of the cost and <br /> hum responsibility for it. <br /> In response to question, City Manager Fales <br /> advised that while the City is continuing to <br /> investigate the possibility of establishing a <br /> similar project on the Hetch-Hetchy right-of- <br /> way, obstacles are presented because of San <br /> Francisco's ownership of the property. <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING Title read.
