Doug Carrington, National Guard, 130 Woodland Court, Milpitas, introduced <br /> himself as the new commanding officer of the National Guard Armory in Redwood <br /> City. Lt. Carrington described activities of the Guard generally and those <br /> conducted in Redwood City, stating they would like to participate in com- <br /> munity affairs to the fullest extent possible and advising that the Armory <br /> may be available for certain uses by community groups during the week. <br /> 2. Joe De Scala, Jr., 1411 Oxford Street, #4, distributed copies of what he <br /> described as a proposed amendment to the bylaws of the Police Youth Club (PVC) <br /> and urged Council to oppose the change. It was explained to Mr. De Scala <br /> that the City Council has no jurisdiction over the Board of Directors of <br /> the Club which is a community sponsored organization. It was suggested <br /> that Mr. De Scala's remarks might be more appropriately addressed directly <br /> to the PYC Board. <br /> EXECUTIVE SESSION <br /> M/S: Bury/Biagi to adjourn to executive session for the purpose of considering <br /> personnel matters and to reconvene solely to adjourn. <br /> Carried unanimously by voice vote. <br /> Council adjourned to executive session at 8:20 p.m. <br /> ADJOURNMENT <br /> Vlrrr <br /> Upon motion duly made, seconded and carried, Council adjourned at 8:31 p.m. <br /> JACQUELINE C.
