8.A. - Page 114 <br /> Exhibit B. Engineering and Construction Requirements <br /> • Fencing: the site shall be surrounded by a fence to prevent unauthorized personnel <br /> from gaining access the site.The fence shall be a eight (8) foot high chain link fence with <br /> vinyl privacy slats. <br /> • Gates shall be installed to enable site access for trucks. <br /> • A pathway a minimum of ten (10)feet wide passable by a maintenance truck shall be <br /> provided within the array fence to allow for access to all equipment enclosed within the <br /> fence area. <br /> • Access to water for maintenance (module cleaning) purposes, as determined adequate <br /> by Seller and approved by the Buyer. <br /> • Access to low voltage (120V) AC power to power maintenance equipment and <br /> miscellaneous equipment. <br /> • Seller shall install and ensure activation of sufficient security cameras on site to monitor <br /> array area, connected to the site's security system, in collaboration with the Buyer. <br /> • Seller will be responsible for installing an acceptable surface cover material under and <br /> around the modules and throughout the site that provides appropriate weed control, <br /> erosion and dust management. <br /> • Seller will be responsible for creating an access road to any ground mount system for <br /> maintenance and fire access purposes.The access road shall be passable under all <br /> weather conditions. <br /> 3.5.13 Lightning and Surge Protection <br /> Seller shall utilize surge suppressors to protect the appropriate equipment from electrical surges. <br /> 3.5.14 Short Circuit Coordination <br /> As part of their design submittals, Seller shall identify overcurrent protective devices installed on <br /> the project(AC/DC fuses and AC/DC circuit breakers). Design submittals shall include calculations <br /> and demonstrate that the devices installed as part of the PV project are coordinated with the <br /> rest of each site's distribution, preventing an unintentional outage due to an isolated PV system <br /> fault. <br /> 3.5.15 Wiring and Cabling Runs <br /> • Seller shall install all AC conductors in conduit. <br /> • Direct burial wire will not be acceptable. Conduit buried underground shall be suitable <br /> for the application and compliant with all applicable codes. PVC shall be constructed of a <br /> virgin homopolymer PVC compound and be manufactured according to NEMA and UL <br /> specifications. All PVC conduit feeders shall contain a copper grounding conductor sized <br /> per NEC requirements and continuity shall be maintained throughout conduit runs and <br /> Exhibit B Page 14 <br />
