8.A. - Page 116 <br /> Exhibit B. Engineering and Construction Requirements <br /> • All feeders and branch circuits shall be sized to minimize voltage drop and losses and shall <br /> be in compliance with NEC requirements. <br /> • Seller shall furnish, install, and connect combiners and recombiners as necessary to <br /> complete the System. Enclosures for combiners and recombiners shall be NEMA 3Rrated <br /> outdoor or NEMA 1 indoor or higher. <br /> • All systems, conduit, boxes, components, etc. shall be grounded and bonded per NEC <br /> requirements and in accordance with Section 3.5.16. <br /> • All exposed conduit runs over 100-feet in length or passing over building connection <br /> points shall have expansion joints to allow for thermal expansion and building shift. <br /> • Seller will be responsible for locating, identifying and protecting existing underground <br /> utilities conduits, piping,substructures,etc.and ensuring that no damage is inflicted upon <br /> existing infrastructure. <br /> • Design Builder shall install and secure the exposed string cable homeruns along the beams <br /> or structure where the combiner box is installed. <br /> • All exposed string wiring must be installed above the lower surface of the structural <br /> purlins and beams. Wire loops under framing members are not acceptable. <br /> • Acceptable wire loss in DC circuits is < 1.5% and acceptable wire loss in AC circuits is < <br /> 1.5%as well. <br /> • 1000V systems are acceptable. <br /> 3.5.16 Grounding and Bonding <br /> • Module ground wiring splices shall be made with irreversible crimp connectors. <br /> • All exposed ground wiring must be routed above the lower surface of any structural <br /> framing. <br /> • For shade structure installations, grounding electrode conductors shall be bonded to <br /> structure columns either just below grade or below the top surface of concrete bollards. <br /> 3.5.17 System Security Requirements <br /> Seller shall utilize tamper-resistant PV module to rack fasteners for all PV module mounting. <br /> 3.5.18 Shade Structure Lighting <br /> Exhibit B Page 16 <br />
