With support from LIBRE partners, the CITY will assist 120 low-income, <br /> immigrant individuals and families who need help applying for or maintaining safety net <br /> benefits. <br /> 4. With client's permission refer to LIBRE partners cases that the CITY believes need <br /> legal advice for benefits or immigration. <br /> 5. Secure a Public Allies Americorp Intern for 32 hours/week for a minimum of 9 <br /> months to help meet FOCC's LIBRE obligations. <br /> 6. Use LIBRE/PIKA to submit data monthly to the LIBRE Project Coordinator with <br /> the number of individuals screened for benefits, the number applications assisted, and <br /> referrals to LIBRE partners for legal and other assistance. <br /> 7. Provide #o the LIBRE Steering Committee a progress report by December 2014, <br /> as needed, and a final repo�t byJune 2015. <br /> 8. Provide the information necessary for the Human Services Agency to report back <br /> on the families the assistor helped to apply for or maintain safety net benefits. <br /> B. LIBRE obligations: <br /> 1. Provide training for the CITY as needed, to provide the outreach activities, <br /> provide the LIBRE materials, and attend the outreach events as needed and available. <br /> 2. Provide consultation for CITY staff about organizing outreach activities and <br /> provide LIBRE materials. <br /> IV. INDEMNIFICATION AND INSURANCE <br /> The CITY will maintain general liability and other insurance appropriate for its activities <br /> under this MOU. Each party will indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the other(in the case of <br /> LIBRE, including the LASSMC)and its directors, officers, employees, agents, and assigns, from <br /> and against all claims, liabilities, Iosses, damages, and expenses, which may arise directly or <br /> indirectly from services provided under this MOU. A party will have no obligation to indemnify <br /> the other party to the extent the liability is caused by the other party's gross negligence or <br /> willful misconduct. <br /> V. OTHER GROUND RULES <br /> A.
