7.1.B. - Page 71 <br /> Exhibit D <br /> Fees To Be Collected For Services Provided <br /> In consideration of the payments set forth in Exhibit E, Contractor shall make every <br /> attempt to collect all of the following fees from the responsible party. Contractor has <br /> no authority to negotiate,waive,or retain fees. However,where failure to provide the <br /> service would result in a conflict to the Contractor's mission and purpose as a <br /> humane society for the prevention of cruelty to animals,and/or where efforts to <br /> collect fees would, in Contractor's estimation,potentially jeopardize safety of its <br /> staff,volunteers or facilities,County agrees to provide collection services for said <br /> fees. <br /> 1. The following are fees as outlined in the applicable County or City Fee <br /> Ordinance are to be charged and collected by the Contractor to the party <br /> taking responsibility of the animal and then sent on a weekly basis to the <br /> County by the Contractor. <br /> Licensing revenue is to be itemized by jurisdiction and category type.in a <br /> format provided by the County. <br /> (a)All licensing fees as shown in San Mateo County ordinance 6.04.290 (a) <br /> and comparable City ordinances, including late fees whenever applicable. <br /> 2. The following are fees as outlined in the applicable County or City Fee <br /> Ordinance are to be charged and collected by the Contractor to the party <br /> taking responsibility of the animal and then sent on a monthly basis to the <br /> County by the Contractor. <br /> (a)All redemption charges as shown in San Mateo County Ordinance <br /> 6.04.290(b)with the following limitation: <br /> 1. Impound charges and board costs for all animals except wildlife, <br /> unless wildlife is legally under permit for possession by a private <br /> citizen,including Vincent Bill Unaltered impound fees; <br /> 2. Transportation and trailing costs for equine,swine, bovine,sheep, <br /> goats,and any other animals Contractor deems advisable to move by <br /> trailer;and <br /> 3.
