Rental: <br /> The Contractor shall provide uniform rental and cleaning services for approximately one <br /> hundred (100) employees who work for the Public Works Division at: 1400 Broadway Street, <br /> Redwood City, CA 94063. Departments are: Auto, Bathroom,Custodial, Equipment,Facility, <br /> Meter, Paint,Signs, Pa�king Meter,Storm,Streets,Tree House and Water. <br /> Inventory Tracking (Initial Issue, inventory,Changes): <br /> Contractor shali issue new standard uniforms to empioyees at the beginning of the <br /> contract period as specified by each Public Works Division. Thereafter, the Contractor shall <br /> maintain sufficient stock to provide complete new uniform sets within one week for <br /> newly hired employees. <br /> At time of contract award, the City's division designee will contact the Contractor's <br /> Account Representative to determine quantities, volumes, frequency of pickup and <br /> general overall program administration. <br /> The inventory per person per week will be based upon the previous year's usage and are <br /> only estimated for future requirements.The number of changes per employee per week shall <br /> be at the discretion of the City and is subject to change to meet changing requirements of <br /> the City operations. <br /> Measurements of Individuals: <br /> Contractor shall be responsible for individual measurements and actual fit of the <br /> uniforms. Measurements of all City workers to be supplied uniforms shall be completed <br /> within thirty (30)days of contract award. Contractor shall provide uniforms for all <br /> employees. From size XS — 6XL and size 28 inseam to 36 inseam with waist size 28 to 60. All <br /> uniforms,when issued at the initial start of service must be new,and used uniforms shall be <br /> issued to the City's image requirements during the period of the contract. Contractor shall <br /> provide new or slightly used replacement garments though U.S. Communities Program,that <br /> meet the City image requirements at no extra cost when the uniform has reached the end <br /> of its life span. Contractor shall take employee measurements at various City facilities. <br /> Contractor shall work with individual City divisions/departmentsto coordinate dates and times <br /> for measurements.Alterations may be required for certain individuals and Contractor shall <br /> absorb costs associated with each uniform alteration. <br /> The Contractor shall maintain a record of uniform size (pants waist and length, shirt size <br /> and jacket size) for each employee that has been issued a uniform. Contractor shall add or <br /> delete items and quantities used,as required,to meet City's needs. <br /> Contractor should allow for shrinkage on standard issue 100%cotton uniforms. <br /> Contractor's route driver or Account Representative will be notified by City of additions of <br /> new employees requiring fitting for new uniforms. <br /> PUBLIC WORKS DtVISiUN <br /> Uniform Rental/Lavndry Services Page 14 <br />
