FTA04A39 <br /> ATTACHMENT I <br /> JEFFERSON AVENUE/JPB GRADE SEPARATION <br /> CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, CALIFORNIA <br /> DESCRIPTION OF PROJECT <br /> This project will provide a grade separation for vehicular traffic on Jefferson Avenue <br /> between Middlefield Road and Franklin Street and the existing JPB railroad. This project will <br /> depress the roadway underneath a railroad bridge structure. All existing utilities will be <br /> relocated and a new storm drain lift station will be constructed. A temporary relocation of the <br /> tracks (shoofly) will be required while the bridge is constructed along with major traffic detour <br /> around the construction site. <br /> The cost of the project includes the design and construction of a grade separation at <br /> Jefferson Avenue between Middlefield Road and Franklin Street, relocation of utilities, <br /> construction of a shoofly,temporary traffic detour and limited right-of-way acquisition. The <br /> cost of the project will be shared with the San Mateo County Transportation Authority. <br /> • <br /> CML/BL:ss 6/10/93 <br />
