(DTPP,page 23) <br /> Preservation Standard and Guidelines <br /> The Downtown Precise Plan has indentified the historic resources in the plan area and has <br /> established specific protections for each resource. These protections govern the changes that are <br /> allowed to be made to the resources themselves. The Plan also protects historic resources by <br /> requiring new projects be built adjacent to historic resources to avoid a"substantial adverse <br /> change" in the significance of the adjacent historic resource and protect its continued eligibility <br /> for listing on the California Register. The Downtown Precise PIan(section 2.1.3) specifies the <br /> Preservation Standard and Guidelines for these resources. <br /> The Preservation Standards and Guidelines for(R) 1322 El Camino Real (The Record Man) are: <br /> The following historic resource preservation standards and guidelines shall pertain to new <br /> development on assessor's parcel number 053-063-090. <br /> 1. Standards <br /> a. The entire El Camino Real facade must be retained and should not be <br /> modified in any significant way. <br /> b. No less than 75%of historic exterior walls shall be retained. <br /> c. Addition Setback: Additions to this property shall be set back 30' from El <br /> Camino Real. <br /> Addition Height: No addition to this property may exceed the height of the historic structure by <br /> more than one story. <br /> 10 <br />
