04/13/2015
7.3.A. - Page 17
1606 Middlefield Road Relocation Plan
strongly encouraged but not required. Following, or in lieu of, this informal
review by the City's Project Manager, the Occupant may choose to file an
appeal for Formal Review and Consideration by an Appeals Officer appointed
by the City Manager with the purpose of providing an impartial review and the
authority to revise the Determination. If an Occupant chooses to file such a
request, the Occupant's Relocation Advisor will provide additional information on
the appeals process in writing. Requests for informal oral presentation or formal
review and reconsideration must be filed within eighteen (18) months following
the date the Occupant moves from the City property or the date he or she
receives final compensation for the property, whichever is later. If an Occupant
has requested informal oral presentation review and subsequently seeks formal
review and reconsideration of the Determination, formal review and
reconsideration must be requested within thirty (30) days following issuance of
the informal oral presentation review written decision. The procedures applying
to the process for review identified herein incorporate by reference Sections
6150 through 6176 of Title 25 of the California Code of Regulations (referred to
as the "Guidelines".) This process is the only process that applies to relocation
appeals as a result of City action. Redwood City Municipal Code Chapter 42 is
not applicable because it pertains to private development and code enforcement
actions only.
L. PROJECTED DATES OF DISPLACEMENT
The residential occupants will receive a 90 day notice to vacate before they are
required to move. This notice is expected to be issued on or about March 16,
2015, with the property vacated by June 15, 2015.
M. ESTIMATED RELOCATION COSTS
The City of Redwood City pledges to appropriate the necessary funds, on a
timely basis, to ensure the successful completion of the project. Any and all
required financial assistance will be provided. The anticipated budget for
relocation benefits excluding implementation is $105,000.
PREPARED BYAUTOTEMP I I
11 RESO.#15397
MUFF#609
