04/13/2015 WHEREAS, at the April 13, 2015, public hearing, the City Council considered the whole of the record, including the Initial Study Checklist and Negative Declaration dated February 27, 2015 and public comments received during the public review period. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. The recitals set forth above are true and correct, and are hereby incorporated herein by this reference as if fully set forth in their entirety. Section 2. The proposed amendments have been reviewed with respect to the applicability of the California Environmental Quality Act ("CEQA") and the State CEQA Guidelines (California Code of Regulations, Title 14, Sections 15000 et seq.). The City Council has considered the Initial Study Checklist and Negative Declaration, which found no significant environmental effects as a result of the proposed changes, and public comments received during the public review period. On the basis of the whole record before it, the City Council finds that there is no substantial evidence that the project will have a significant effect on the environment and that the Negative Declaration reflects the Council's independent judgment and analysis. Pursuant to Guidelines section15074(c), the documents and other materials that constitute the record of proceedings upon which the City Council has based its decision are located in and may be obtained from the Office of the City Clerk at 1017 Middlefield Road, Redwood City, California. The City Clerk is the custodian of records for all matters before the City. Section 4. The City Council of the City of Redwood City adopts the Initial Study Checklist and Negative Declaration.
