7.1.F. - Page 3 <br /> AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE COUNTY OF SAN MATEO, <br /> REDWOOD CITY 2020, AND CITY OF REDWOOD CITY <br /> ACTING AS FISCAL AGENT FOR REDWOOD CITY 2020 <br /> THIS AGREEMENT, entered into this day of , 20_, by and between <br /> the COUNTY OF SAN MATEO, hereinafter called "County," REDWOOD CITY <br /> 2020 (a collaboration comprised of eight partners, including City of Redwood, <br /> Redwood City Elementary School District, Sequoia Union High School District, <br /> County of San Mateo Health and Human Services, Sequoia Healthcare District, <br /> John W. Gardner Center for Youth and their Communities — Stanford University, <br /> Kaiser Permanente, and First 5 of San Mateo County), and CITY OF REDWOOD <br /> ("City") Acting as Fiscal Agent for Redwood City 2020. REDWOOD CITY 2020 is <br /> hereinafter called "Contractor'; <br /> W ITNESSETH: <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to Government Code Section 31000, County may <br /> contract with independent contractors for the furnishing of such services to or for <br /> County or any Department thereof; <br /> WHEREAS, Redwood City 2020 is a Community Collaborative that <br /> coordinates the delivery of services to children, youth and families living in the <br /> City of Redwood City and North Fair Oaks, an unincorporated area adjacent to <br /> Redwood City. Redwood City 2020 is made up of eight partners, including City of <br /> Redwood City, Redwood City Elementary School District, Sequoia Union High <br /> School District, County of San Mateo Health and Human Services, Sequoia <br /> Healthcare District, John <br /> W. Gardner Center for Youth and their Communities — Stanford University, Kaiser <br /> Permanente, and First 5 of San Mateo County to provide leadership and oversight <br /> necessary to develop a coordinated approach to strengthen academic and social <br /> outcomes for children and youth living within the attendance area of the Redwood <br /> City School District and provide valuable resources to families so they can be <br /> successful primary caregivers to their children. <br /> WHEREAS, it is necessary and desirable that Contractor be retained for <br /> the purpose of providing alcohol and other drug prevention and recovery <br /> services. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY AGREED BY THE PARTIES <br /> HERETO AS FOLLOWS: <br /> REV:03-30-15 MW <br /> Rage 1 of 32 <br /> ATTY/AGR.2015.061/RWC2020 County BHRS ACID 2015-2017 <br />
