These facilities <br /> normally consist of a grass buffer strip,sand bed, <br /> ponding area, organic layer or mulch layer, <br /> planting soil, and plants. <br /> The property contains one (4) bioretention areas, located as described below and as <br /> shown in the attached site plan'. <br /> ■ Bioretention Area No. 1 is located adjacent to the Broadway Street Entrance <br /> ■ Bioretention Area No. 2 is located at the northwest corner of the site. <br /> ▪ Bioretention Area No. 3 is located at the northeast corner of the site. <br /> ■ Bioretention Area No. 4 is located on the east side of the site between the building and <br /> Charter Street. <br /> I. Routine Maintenance Activities <br /> The principal maintenance objective is to prevent sediment buildup and clogging, which <br /> reduces pollutant removal efficiency and may lead to bioretention area failure.
