EXHIBIT "A" <br /> SCOPE OF SERVICES <br /> Under the guidance of the Planning Manager and Principal Planner (Historic <br /> Preservation), perform tasks related to historic preservation projects and initiatives <br /> including but not limited to: <br /> • Mills Act Contracts: Act as primary contact for potential applications, prepare <br /> and present to HRAC <br /> • Mills Act Inspection System: Design and implement a system for tracking and <br /> scheduling inspections <br /> • Development projects: Act as primary planner for minor development projects <br /> that include a historic resource, prepare and present to HRAC <br /> • Main Street Historic District Expansion: Act as primary planner for this potential <br /> district expansion project <br /> • Grant Applications: Identify HP grant sources and prepare applications <br /> • New Historic Districts: Identify needs, potential funding, RFP scope of services, <br /> guide survey work, etc. <br /> • City Website: Prepare new and updated material relating to Historic Preservation <br /> for the City's website <br /> • List of Local Resources: Update and maintain list of resources <br /> • Prepare HP-related materials and handouts <br /> • Other tasks as needed. <br /> Prior to the start of work, the City and Consultant shall establish specific performance <br /> measures and expectations to the satisfaction of the City. The anticipated schedule <br /> entails approximately 8-10 hours per week (one day per week in the RWC Planning <br /> Division office), but may fluctuate with specific project milestones and deadlines. <br /> Attendance at HRAC meetings, as needed, is expected.
