'15407 <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING CONSOLIDATED PLAN (2015-2020) AND <br /> ANNUAL ACTION PLAN (2015-2016) AND APPLICATION FOR <br /> FEDERAL ASSISTANCE (COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK <br /> GRANT AND HOME INVESTMENT PARTNERSHIP FUNDS) ; <br /> CERTIFYING THAT THE CITY HAS FOLLOWED ITS ADOPTED <br /> CITIZEN PARTICIPATION PLAN ; AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION <br /> AND FILING OF ALL DOCUMENTS PERTAINING THERETO (FISCAL <br /> YEAR 2015-2016) <br /> WHEREAS, the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Program <br /> authorized pursuant to Title I of the Housing and Community Development Act of 1974 <br /> (FL. 93-383) , as amended ("the Act") , requires that jurisdictions receiving federal funds <br /> develop a Consolidated Plan and provide for the issuance of grants in order to attain the <br /> objective of the development of viable urban communities, by providing decent housing <br /> and a suitable living environment and expanding economic opportunities, principally for <br /> persons of low or moderate income; and <br /> WHEREAS, there has been presented to, and reviewed by this Council , a <br /> Consolidated Plan , Annual Action Plan and an application to the United States <br /> Department of Housing and Urban Development for a Community Development Block <br /> Grant (the "Application") in the amount of approximately Six Hundred Ninety Three <br /> Thousand Six Twenty Two Dollars ($693 ,622) and Home Investment Partnership <br /> Program (HOME) funds in the amount of Two Hundred Eleven One Hundred Sixty Eight <br /> Dollars ($211 , 168) for the period of July 1 , 2015 through June 30, 2016 ; and <br /> WHEREAS, there has been prepared by the Planning Manager a Notice of <br /> Determination determining that the proposed CDBG & HOME Programs and approval of <br /> ATTY/RES0.3079/CC RESO ADOPTING CONSOLIDATED PLAN RESO. # 15407 <br /> & ANNUAL ACTION PLAN MUFF # 304 <br /> REV: 04-15-15 VR <br /> Page 1of3 <br />
