Page 1 <br />Storm Water Treatment Maintenance Plan <br />Jefferson and Franklin <br />103 Wilson Street <br />The property contains two (2) treatment devices and one (1) cistern located as described below and <br />as shown in the attached site plan: <br />§Treatment Vault #1 is located at the rear of the property within the access alley adjacent <br />to the CalTrain right-of-way. <br />§Treatment Vault #2 is located southeast of the intersection of Franklin Street and <br />Jefferson Avenue. <br />§Detention Vault is located at the rear of the property within the access alley adjacent to <br />the CalTrain right-of-way. <br />I.Routine Maintenance Activities <br />The principal maintenance objectives are to ensure that water flows unimpeded into the flow-through <br />planter and landscaping remains attractive in appearance. Table 1 shows the routine maintenance <br />activities, and the frequency at which they will be conducted. In addition, <br />Table 1 <br />Routine Maintenance Activities for Treatment Devices <br />No.Maintenance Task Frequency of Task <br />1 Remove accumulated sediment, litter, and debris from KriStar Media Filter <br />and dispose of properly. Confirm that no clogging will occur and that the <br />treatment device will drain per design standards. <br />Before wet season and as <br />necessary <br />2 Inspect KriStar Perk Filter Cartidges to ensure that there are no clogs. Test <br />with garden hose to confirm that the filters will drain per design standards. <br />Monthly during the wet season, <br />and as needed after storm <br />events <br />3 Inspect podium drains, roof drains, and sheet flow from paved areas to <br />ensure flow to KriStar Media Filters is unimpeded. Remove debris and repair <br />damaged pipes. Check splash blocks or rocks and repair, replace, and <br />replenish as necessary. <br />Monthly during the wet season, <br />and as needed after storm <br />events <br />4 Inspect overflow pipe to ensure that it will safely convey excess flows to <br />storm drain. Repair or replace any damaged or disconnected piping. <br />Before the wet season, and as <br />necessary <br />5 Inspect KriStar Media Filter to ensure that manhole is structurally sound (no <br />cracks or leaks).
