The event took <br />place in South San Francisco, and the keynote speaker was John Stewart of the John <br />Stewart Company. His company partners with public agencies and non-profit <br />organizations in creating affordable and market-rate family rental housing, senior <br />housing, cooperatives, and special needs housing. <br /> <br />There were 380 guests in attendance to celebrate “Ten Years: A Thousand Doors,” and <br />two new films were debuted at the event one of them being the Housing Crisis Solutions <br />featuring local elected officials including Council Member Howard, HEART <br />representative for Redwood City, and Mayor Gee. <br /> <br />This event raised over $120K for affordable housing programs. <br /> <br /> for all Council Members <br /> <br />_____________________________________________ June 4, 2015 <br /> <br />Name: Mayor Gee, Council Members Howard and Pierce Vendor No.: HEART of San Mateo <br />Department: City Council Voucher No.: <br />The Administrative Code requires reports of conferences or meetings for which a council member requests per diem or <br />expense reimbursement. Reports must be submitted to the City Clerk of no later than the Wednesday of the week before <br />the next City Council meeting. Reports must be submitted before the City of Redwood City will pay per diem or <br />reimbursement for the conference or the meeting. Reports are not required for City Council meetings, or meetings with <br />Council members, the City Manager, City Attorney or City Clerk. <br />11.A. - Page 1
