BKF has completed the rehabilitation project, <br /> and the construction document with the changed scope of work and the project is set to open bid on June <br /> 2, 2004. BKF is pleased to have the opportunity to provide the construction services to assist City <br /> during project construction stage after City award the contract. <br /> Scope of the Work - Construction Services <br /> . Shop drawings review <br /> . Response to request for infonnation and clarify construction document <br /> . Field inspection at concrete column initial wrap, timber rough framing, pipeline tie-ins, and at <br /> request of City for inspection. <br /> . Change order due to field change. <br /> . Prepare record drawings based on markups provided by the Contractor. <br /> For construction services, it is difficult to estimate precise time to spend on the job, I would like to <br /> suggest that the City set aside a total budget of $32,500 for engineering design services, and time and <br /> material for construction services as described above at approval of City to spend the time on the <br /> project. <br /> We have fulfilled our current engineering contract with extra service at request of the City; we would <br /> also like to see the project constructed as designed to meet City's expectation.
