FILE 1522-81-9 <br /> Background � <br /> On June 17, 1981, the Subdivision Committee approved Parcel Map No. 81-9 for <br /> the re-subdivision of certain parcels of land along the easterly right-of-way <br /> line of Hillcrest Way and south of Sunset Way. <br /> Summary <br /> The conditions of approval of the parcel map require the reconstruction of a <br /> two-lane road on Hillcrest Way. <br /> Also, the developer is required to enter into an agreement with the City of <br /> Redwood City for future improvements of Hillcrest Way which may include the <br /> widening of Hillcrest Way with curbs, gutters, sidewalk, all underground <br /> utilities (electrical, telephone, water, sewer, storm drain and street lighting) , <br /> and additional right-of-way dedication if necessary. <br /> Conclusion <br /> The subdivider prepared the parcel map and the improvement plans to the satis- <br /> faction of the Department of Public Works and a bond in the amount of $79,000.00 <br /> will be posted for improvements. <br /> Recommendation <br /> It is recommended that the City Council approve the parcel map and authorize <br /> the execution of the subdivision agreement. <br /> �� • . <br /> FRANK J.
