and touches and is contiguous to the boundaries of the City of <br /> Redwood City; and <br /> {2) That on November 14 , 19 60 , this Council did adopt <br /> its Resolution No. 3244 , entitled "Resolution of the Council of <br /> the City of Redwood City Giving Notice of, and Declaring its In- <br /> tention to, Initiate on its own Motion Proceedings to Annex to <br /> said City Certain Uninhabited Territory; Describing said Territory <br /> and Designating it by the Name ' Canciila Annexation ' ; <br /> Giving its Reasons for Desiring said Annexation; Making Certain <br /> Findings Respecting said Proceedings ; and Giving Notice of the <br /> Time and Place said Council will Hear Protests to said Annexation, " <br /> wherein it gave notice of said proposed annexation, described said <br /> territory and designated it by the above mentioned name, made cer- <br /> tain f indings respecting said proposal and gave notice of the time <br /> and place said Council would hear protests thereta; and <br /> (3) That less than twelve registered voters resided within <br /> said territory at the time the above mentioned resolution was <br /> adopted by this Council; and <br /> (4) That the City C lerk has caused a copy of said Resolution <br /> No. 3244 to be published in the manner and within the time re- <br /> quired by law, and has also caused written notice of such proposed <br /> annexation to be mailed to all persons or bodies to whom such <br /> notice is required by law to be g iven; all in the manner and time <br /> required by law; and <br /> (5) That this Council did in said Resolution No. 3244 set <br /> and designate January 9 , 19 61 , at the hour of 8-00 p.m. , <br /> in the Board of Supervisors' Chambers, Ha 11 of Justice and Recor ds, <br /> Redwood City, San Mateo County, California, as the day, hour, and <br /> place when and where said Council would hear protests against said <br /> annexation; and <br /> -2- <br />
