(a) It is unlawful for any person to <br /> � <br /> construct, ereet or maintain any awning or hood c�e� or <br /> upon any sidewalk, street or public riqht of �ay unless <br /> said per�on shall have first obtained a building permit <br /> f=o� the bnilding official. <br /> ' {b) Movable a�ings or hoods may have cc�mbnstible <br /> eoverings supported on incoanb�stible frames atta�hed to the <br /> buildi.ng. <br /> • {c) Fixed awAinqs or hoods shall be constructed of <br /> inco�ab�stible materials a�d shall be designed to resist <br /> tw�enty {20) pounds of live-load uniformly distributed <br /> over the projected area. <br /> ' {d) Such awning or hood may extend over the publie <br /> prcperty not more than two-thirds the distance from the <br /> property line to the nearest curb ia front of the building <br /> site. <br /> ' {e) The lawest part of any fixed a�niug or hood <br /> o= of any awning o= hood frame shall be not less than <br /> eight feet (8') above the ground im�ediately belaw, <br /> and the lc�west part of any fringe attached to st�ch awning <br /> or hood shall be not less than sevea feet (7•) abcwe the <br /> grade i.mmediate ly be low.
