1 <br /> (e) In every trailer park shower baths or other bathing <br /> facilities with hot and cold running water shall be installed in <br /> separate compartments. Every campartment shall be provided with <br /> a self-closing door or otherwise equipped with a waterproof draw <br /> curtain. <br /> SECTIDIJ 15. Trailer Occupanev. {a) �o prevent overcrvwding <br /> there shall be provided a minimum of forty-eight (48) square feet <br /> in each room used as a bedroom for first two occupants and thirty- <br /> two t32) square feet additional for each additional occupant. <br /> (b) The living room if used as a bedroom shall be separated <br /> from the kitchen area by a curtain or partition. <br /> (c) Each room used for a bedroom sha21 have at least an area <br /> equal to one-eighth (1/8) of the floor area as window space. At <br /> least fifty per cent (50�) of windows shall be of a type that will <br /> open in osder to provide adequate ventilation. <br /> (d) Doors from the toilet ro� shall not opea directly into <br /> the kitchen area. <br /> SECTION 16. Reraoval of Wheels or Si�ilar Denices. The <br /> removal of wheels or similar transporting devices fro� any trailer <br /> or permanently f�ing any trailer to the grotind shall be constraed <br /> as removing such trailer from the regulations of this ordinance <br /> and converting it into a dwelliag and it shall thereupon be �ub- <br /> ject to the requirements of the Building Code of the City of <br /> Redwood City and the State Housing Act of California. <br /> SEC�ION 17. Penalties. Any person, firm or corporation, <br /> whether as pri�cipal, agent, e�aployee, or otherwise, violating or <br /> causi.ng the violation of any of the provisions of this ordinance, <br /> shall be guilty of a misdemeanor, aad upon conviction thereof shall <br /> be punished by a fine of not more than Five Hundred Dollars ($500) , <br /> -5- <br />
