<br /> AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CTTY AP-
<br /> PROVING THE ANNEXATION TO THE CITY OF REDWOOD�
<br /> CSTY OF CERTAIN UNINHAB ITED TERRITORY DESIGNATED
<br /> " BERE SFORD NO. 1 "
<br /> AND HEREIN DESCRIBED, AND HEREIIV ANNEXING SAID
<br /> TERRITORY TO SAID CITY OF REDWOOD CITY
<br /> THE COUNCIL OF REDWOOD CITY DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
<br /> WHEREAS, on the 13th day of March , 19 6�- , the
<br /> Council of the City of Redwood City adopted Resolution No. 3327
<br /> giving notice of, and declaring its intention to, initiate upon its
<br /> own motion proceedings to annex to the City of Redwood City all of
<br /> the territory designated as " Beresford No. 1 �� .

<br /> and
<br /> WHEREAS, this Council has received evidence showing, and has
<br /> found, and again f inds, that a written description of the proposal
<br /> ta annex said territory to the City of Redwood City was filed with
<br /> the Secretary of the Boundary Commission of San Mateo County,
<br /> Califarnia, on February 14 , 19 61 , and that said Boundary
<br /> Commission has prepared, or caused to be prepared, a report on said
<br /> annexation proposal as required by law, and that said Boundary
<br /> Commissian has approved the boundaries of said proposed annexation;
<br /> and has received evidence showing, and has found, and again finds,
<br /> that the aforementioned action of the Councii initiating the an-
<br /> nexation of the herein described territory, upon its own motion,
<br /> was not commenced until after said written description of the
<br /> proposal for said annexation was filed with the Secretary of the
<br /> San Mateo County Boundary Commission, and until after said Com-
<br /> mission made, or caused to be made, its report and approved said
<br /> boundaries; and
<br /> WHEREAS, this Council has further received evidence showing,
<br /> and has found, and again finds:
<br /> (1) That said territory is situate immediatel� adjacent to
