. � � (6) That none of the territory within the boundaries of the territory proposed to be annexed is owned by a junior college dis- trict; and WHEREAS, this Council duly met and convened at said ti�e and place for the purpose of hearing and passing upon all protests to said proposed annexation, and also at the time (s) and place(s) to which such hearing was continued, and did at the hearing in open public session ask for protests, if any, to the proposed annexation and gave all persons full opportunity to protest said annexation and received evidence relevant to such annexation; and WHEREAS, this Council at the time of said hearing found and determined that protests to the proposed annexation of the here- inafter described territory to the City of Redwood City had not been made by owners of ane-half of the value of said territory as shown by the last equalized assessment roll of the County of San Mateo, Cali£ornia, nor b�r public owners equal to one-half of th� value of pub lic property within said territory as said value has been determined by said Council; NOW, THEREFORE, the Council of the City of Redwood City does hereby approve the annexation to the City of Redwood City of a1Z the territory designated as " Beresford No. 1 �� and hereinafter described, and does a2so hereby ordain that said territory be and is hereby annexed to the City of Redwood City.
